How to Use Section
Using the Innokin JEM Pen is a straightforward process, but following these steps will ensure the best possible experience.
- Unbox and Check Components: Carefully open the box and remove all the contents, i.e. Innokin Jem Pen device, coils, charging cable and spare parts.
- Prime the Coil: Apply a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton wicking ports on the side of the coil (before installing). This step is crucial to saturate the wick and prevent a burnt taste on your first use.
- Fill the Tank:
- Grip the top cap of the device and twist it counter-clockwise to remove it from the tank.
- Once the top cap is off, you will see a clear opening to the tank. Insert your e-liquid bottle nozzle and fill the tank with up to 2ml of e-liquid. Do not fill past the top of the central chimney to avoid leaks.
- Twist the top cap back on clockwise until it is secure.
- Leave the tank for few minutes after filling to allows the e-liquid to fully soak into the cotton.
- Power On/Off: Quickly press the single fire button five times to turn the device on or off. The LED indicator will flash to confirm the device is on or off.
- Vaping: Press and hold the fire button while you inhale. Release the button when you are finished with your inhale.
- Charging: When required, connect the included micro-USB cable to the charging port on the side of the device. The tri-colour LED indicator will show the battery level while charging.

To change the coil, first ensure the tank is empty. Unscrew the base of the tank from the device, unscrew the old coil from the base, and screw a new one in. Remember to prime the new coil and let it sit for a few minutes after refilling.
Why am I getting a burnt taste from my Inookin Jem?
If the flavour is muted or tastes burnt, it's a clear sign that the coil is dead and needs replacement. This can happen when the coil is old or if it isn’t primed adequately before use.
